Frequently Asked Questions - Provider

What is a Provider Profile?

A provider profile on OHM is a web page developed and maintained by a provider. This profile displays a provider's name, address, facility type and an "About Us" section. Profiles also are tagged with Specialties, so users can search for providers by specialty. The profile also can display a picture if you wish.

How do I add and edit a profile?

To add a profile, a provider simply registers for the site and fills out their profile information. Once registered, the user can log in and go to their "My OHM" link in the banner to edit their profile.

How do I respond to RFPs?

Registered providers are automatically alerted to RFPs related to their specialties. Once alerted, providers can sign in to OHM and go to the RFP center to see active RFPs. When reading an RFP you will have a button "Respond to this RFP" that allows you to respond. Once you respond, a submitter can converse with you within your response. Your "My OHM" page is the place to go to keep track of your responses.

What is a Provider Bulletin?

A provider bulletin is a free-form post that a provider can make on OHM. These posts can be anything related to your services that might be of interest to self-insured entities. Your bulletins are automatically sent out over the OHM Twitter feed, so its a good way to push out information. You control your bulletins through your "My OHM" page.

Who sees my profile information?

Your provider profile is public, anyone can see it. Your bulletins are sent out over our Twitter feed, which is available to anyone subscribed to the feed.

What are my costs?

The cost for OHM is free for the time being. Eventually, we will be changing to a subscription membership for providers, but only after we've built a strong enough marketplace. We will give you ample lead time to decide whether or not you wish to continue with your membership.
